Armed with a MSc. in Human Nutrition & Nutritional Genomics along with counselling experience across the Middle East and United States, I aim to always serve my clients with enthusiasm and passion, empowering them to feel their best, achieves their health goals, and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
My experience in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics started in 2012, getting my training at Jordan Hospital counseling patients with different nutrition-related diseases and needs, as well as food service and safe food handling. Shortly after I joined a multinational company specializing in pediatric nutrition, where I got the chance to work with children and breastfeeding mothers, while advising doctors to deliver the appropriate nutrition needs for their patients.
With a desire to further expand my knowledge, I moved to the US and received my Master’s degree in the state of Michigan, and continued to work there in private and public clinics focusing on multiple disciplines, such as the nutrition management of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, GI inflammations, food sensitivities, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and pediatric nutrition.
Since moving to Dubai in 2018, I have had hands-on experience in Hatta, Latifa and Rashid Hospitals which has further enriched my experience, before joining the team at RightBite.
I am always eager to keep developing my knowledge and skills by attending accredited conferences, workshops and courses whenever I get the chance. As the Head Clinical Dietitian I manage the clinic operations, lead the team of dietitians, work closely with the Head Chef to design nutritious and delicious meal plans, and educates the community through writing articles, presenting at conferences and hosting webinars.
My own personal weight loss journey and the challenges I overcame made me believe that it all starts with self-love, encouragement and perseverance. I believe in a holistic approach to mindful and intuitive eating to improve my clients’ overall wellbeing.
